USC vs. Notre Dame. Pete Carroll vs. Charlie Weis. But maybe the best matchup is ABC announcer Brent Musberger vs. USC sports information dept. for today's production meeting.
Musberger drew the ire of USC in September when he mentioned some hand signals by John David Booty that he learned during the Friday production meeting before the Nebraska game.
Also doing Saturday's game is former Notre Dame coach Bob Davie.
Just say no. No, Brent, we won't talk to you.
Gee, I wonder how much inside info Musberger gets for THIS game....
"OK Mr. Musberger, here's the scoop. When the play is 3d and long, we will probably pass. On 4th downs in ND territory, we will probably go for it.. please keep this to yourself, eh? Oh, and when I lift my hand toward the camera, with my middle finger raised, I am saying hello to you"
I'm sure the coaches gave Bob Davie all sorts of secret information too haha
