South Carolina lost to UC Irvine by 15 points tonight. Gamecocks coach Dave Odom played the Anteaters on the advice of USC coach Tim Floyd, when Odom said he wanted another West Coast game besides playing the Trojans on Thursday. Odom probably regrets that decision now.
Or feels like Floyd did two weeks ago when Air Force beat the Trojans by 17 points in a scrimmage at the Galen Center.
Meanwhile, Paulette Francis, the mother of USC point guard Ryan Francis, was at USC on Tuesday night in preparations for ceremonies Thursday night to honor her slain son. There will be a halftime ceremony, a video of Francis, Floyd will speak and comedian Tom Arnold will speak to announce a scholarship in honor of Francis.

Scott, is Petros still the voice of the Trojans? Also, does anyone want to bet that USC wins?
