Not to sound naive, but if Ohio State and potentially SC are getting around 2500 seats between them, and there are over 70,000 seats in that stadium, who the hell else are getting those tickets? Obviously the Fiesta Bowl committee, sponsors, etc. But we all know that the vast majority of those tickets are going directly to the brokers, Stub Hub, EBay, etc. That's really a disgrace.

And four of the ties happened in a nine year span from 1936 through 1944 that included 11 games. They doubled up during WWII. One of those game was the epic 0-0 game of 1939 played before 103,000+ at the Coliseum, considered by many to be the greatest game ever played in the series.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
