Routine Change

With the season past the halfway point, USC coach Pete Carroll is trimming the time of practices and working the second team more to keep players fresh.
It also might make sense to give the younger players more practice time since they could play more in a blowout over lowly Stanford.
``Stanford’s good, they’ve just made some mistakes,'' freshman tailback C.J. Gable said. ``We’re a young team, so we don’t expect blowouts right now.''

What, they are saving themselves for the BCS title game? That's long gone. What difference does it make? Yeah rest 'em up for our Diamond Walnut bowl game vs. Memphis it's going to be a tough one.

Don't worry, C.J. We won't expect a blowout. We're 1 for 7.

Won't some of you feel funny next year when all these new players are experienced and better than ever?

Get used to playing close ball games!

The Dynasty is over, and the 2006 team is worse than that 2001 team that lost to Utah 10-6 in Las Vegas!

GAME OVER PETEY! Go back to New England!

Speaking of changing your routine, who's your new #1 Scott? Now that WVA has been exposed...

Well, quite obviously, Louisville is #1 since they're undefeated and they just beat the former #1. Imagine what they'd be like if Heisman candidate Michael Bush was still healthy. Louisville will eat up Rutgers next week. The Scarlet Pimpernels haven't won a big game in the history of the program, and it goes back further than George Washington. They could of had Jarrett, Cushing and Perez, but who wants to stay in New Jersey except Tony Soprano?

They need rest the offensive players are tired from chasing all their fumbles and the defensive guys have been running all over trying to catch the opposing teams WR with the ball 30 yards downfield after Taylor Mays "slipped" again.....

Finally someone else shares my opinion. Thanks realistic Trojan. PC knew how to delegate and hired people like Orgeron and Chow. Now that they are gone, he is exposed and we have seen his bonehead play calling in games.

He is a good recruiter though.

But after a couple of 7-4 years, which I see coming, 'ole Pete is gonna be on the hot seat..

I posted on the WEARESC.com webpage right after the game against Oregon State and I still wonder why they trojans don't run plays out of the Shotgun for Booty.

1) He's short
2) He's slow of foot
3) He has a history of passes being deflected
4) He has a history with the shotgun while in HS

Im still wondering what the offensive coaches are thinking!
