What's This?

Linebacker Rey Maualuga showed up to practice with a cast on his left hand. Maualuga said he cracked a bone in his wrist but will play, although he might need a cast.
"It killed me Sunday morning," he said. Offensive guard Drew Radovich is wearing a boot because he bruised a bone in his foot. He hopes to return Thursday.

Did he hurt/break his hand beating up another frat guy on Frat Row, just like he did in Oct. 2005?

Which party did he attend, and consequently get into another one of his 'rages' at?

Did he say "I own the police" after he knocked someone out?

/just askin
//Laurenitis of tOSU is wayyy better than Rey "IOTP" Mauluaga

Have we heard that before from you, [frat]?

A cracked wrist won't stop Rey.

Probably hit a cop, since he owns them, he might as well.

That guy is going to kill somebody some day - I really hope he gets help.

The cast won't stop Rey. He is on the verge of having an absolute blow out game!

BTW - You guys are pretty judgemental about the off the field incidences, b/c let me guess, you guys were perfect little angels & never got into any skirmishes in your 1st few years of college? C'mon, Rey is a good kid - & he is a hell of a football player. The fact of the matter is he is playing at the top football program in the nation & everything gets put under the microscope & blown out of proportion by the fishwrap hacks!

Rey-Rey will be ready & will cause havoc on Saturday!

Ignore reelbRUIN. he spends more time here than on that worthless ucla blog (actually a smart move) and has nothing of note to add. Prepare for your beatdown on the 2nd westwood high

According to a witness, Maualuga appeared intoxicated and was one of several Trojan players in attendance. The witness said that the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Maualuga was among a group of about five people standing outside the house when Maualuga noticed a man standing with two women about 10 feet away.

After Maualuga and the man exchanged words, Maualuga walked toward the man and women and, unprovoked, punched the man in the face, the witness said. The man's head hit the side of the house, and Maualuga punched the man in the face again as he slumped, bloodied, to the ground.

When a woman said she was going to call the police, the witness said Maualuga responded: "I own the police," before fleeing the scene on foot.

I wonder where the young man got the idea that he "owned" the police and could get away with assaultive behavior??

I think that we all agree that Rey did something dumb and that he regrets. Let's move on, unless you want to bring up the dumb things you did as a teenager as well.

SchmittyDomer and everybody:
To be impartial, fair and objective:
1. The first thing is the witness/es credibility.
2. Has his say being confirmed? Confirmation goes back to credibility.
3. PC has a lot of power. Having said that don't ALL of you think he would have "unofficial" eyes and ears all over the campus/premises NOT to mention the same thing thing for the other coaches. RM is like my Spanish accent it won't fool anybody therefore I don't try! Am I naive? Do I make sense? The answers, NO, I am NOT naive and I make sense. The point is that Rey Mauluga is like a most wanted just about everybody knows who he is. Everybody knows who Matt Leinart is. That is the point USC FB players are easily recognized. As a general rule a FB player is a big man. USC FB players are among the biggest in the nation. Did I prove my point(s)?
Let's wait for further reports.
Thanks

Lay off my Mauler Rey Rey. That was a long time ago, he's mellowed off-field and he knows he's gotta walk the line. He's still a young guy making mistakes but he's in the only place where he's held accountable: under Carroll, his father-figure.

Look at the guy. A coach's dream; Cannabalistic-Tazmanian-Devil that intimidates opposing players.

Hopefully he'll use the cast on his arm like a crow-bar over a domer's head. And then after the game, gives the guy a hug...

NO SCHOOL should get in a pissing match over the players conduct b/c you can find mistakes and sometimes THE WORST mistakes at every school. YOu weren't there. You can read a paper, so good for you. Not condoning what Rey did b/c it was awful.

So I will now pee....

"The 22-year-old woman and her parents filed the suit in April seeking an unspecified amount of damages from the University and from four Notre Dame football players whom she said raped her at the home of one of the players.

Criminal charges were filed against all four of the players after they were expelled (reportedly for sexual misconduct) from Notre Dame, but only one of the accused was convicted"

Maybe you should read The Tarnished Dome before you write dumb stuff... "Notre Dame football program's reality, with trash talking, rampant steroid use, pregame fights, and academic misconduct."
