Here's the Fox Sports press release on its Reggie Bush-Rose Bowl sideline pass controversy.
FOX Sports’ NFL Insider Jay Glazer joined FOX NFL SUNDAY live via satellite from New Orleans earlier today (Sunday 12/31) for his weekly segment. This week’s report included a surprising incident surrounding the New Orleans Saints Reggie Bush and his alma mater, USC: “Reggie Bush has told me that USC does not want him on the sidelines, or present anywhere, at tomorrow’s Rose Bowl. His guess is that his appearance would stoke controversy surrounding the allegations that surfaced earlier in the year surrounding his parents and that house. Reggie is very hurt by this. OJ Simpson can go to practice but Reggie Bush can’t go to the game? You’ve got to be kidding me.�

Wow, Mike Garrett and another terrible decision. What happened to Trojan Family? (I guess the Trojan Nation doesn't care for things like that) Reggie Bush earns the 7th Stiff Arm Trophy for USC, plays for 3 straight National Titles, and is told to go watch on TV. Bush created the excitement that led to Garrett selling the 50-yard student section seats for $10,000 each, and moved the poor students to the endzone. At least let Reggie cheer with his friends and teammates at the game.

This basically sucks all the way around.
Mr.Bush endangered USC's national championships and titles and made the school look bad, of course they can't have him standing on the sidelines.
If USC was really this concerned about it they would of desciplined Bush while he was at USC. What, they didn't know where he lived??

I am wondering if this is payback for leaving school early. I really don't see many former players on the sideline that left early. Just a thought
