Bush Vs. USC, Part II

A USC spokesperson said the issue of whether Reggie Bush requested a sideline pass for the Rose Bowl is moot because BCS rules allow only five VIP sideline passes and they were given out before Bush requested a pass. The passes were given to former USC players Ronnie Lott, Matt Leinart, Marcus Allen, Charles White and John Papadakis.
``It's not like it's a home game where there's unlimited passes,’’ spokesperson Tim Tessalone said. ``That's what I can tell you about it.’’

Not to disrespect Mr. Papadakis, but the university would have gotten 100x better pub (especially among the up-and-coming scholastic players) with Reggie Bush representing them on the sideline.

As usual, BCS rules are stoopid.

This makes sense because Reggie could not ask since he was not sure if New Orleans would have the bye or not.

Matt has known for a long time he would not have to prepare for a game this next weekend.

By the way Scott, is Matt going to sign autographs? j/k

whenever someone says "not to disrespect" bla bla bla...that is exactly what they are doing.

USC does not want Bush around giving other Juniors ideas of leaving early.

Hey listener, I mean exactly what I said. No disrespect to Mr. Papadakis. I'm glad he'll be a VIP on the sideline representing USC. Used to listen to him with Petros on the Ticket all the time. Liked his book with Sam-the-Bam as well. But Reggie deserves to be at the game too. It's a matter of SC not looking out for themselves within the BCS rules. Good job Tessalone.

Maybe my eyes deceived me, but it sure looked like Matty snuck onto the sideline in a USC team wam-up suit.
