Carroll At The Coliseum
USC coach Pete Carroll is at the Coliseum right now watching Birmingham High tailback Milton Knox play San Pedro in the City championship game. Knox scored three touchdowns in the first half and Birmingham jumped out to a 24-7 lead.

Maybe Pete is looking for a new OC at the HS ranks?
Lord knows those guys are MUCH BETTER than Lame Kiffin.
"The Seminoles won national championships in 1993 and 1999 but have struggled since the younger Bowden replaced now-Georgia head coach Mark Richt as the offensive coordinator in 2001.
Bobby Bowden has stood by his son's performance as offensive coordinator, despite a notable decline in scoring and yardage gained in the past half-dozen seasons.
In Richt's final season, the Seminoles averaged 42.4 points and 549 yards a game on their way to a national title game against Oklahoma - totals never approached during Jeff Bowden's six years as coordinator.
In the last three seasons, Florida State has averaged fewer than 30 points a game - for the first time since the 1981 season.
Fans have been reluctant to criticize the elder Bowden - major college football's wins leader with 364 victories - focusing instead on his son. A Web site calling for Jeff Bowden's removal had gathered 2,975 signatures as of Tuesday."
Sound familar, ladies?
That is EXACTLY what is going down at SC.
We are next to fall due to Lame Kiffin!
www.firelanekiffin.blogspot.com
Give it a break, firelanekiffin-dork. Florida State is going to the Emerald Bowl and USC is going to the Rose Bowl. We still had a good season. Stop be such a whiney little brat.
My biggest problem with Kiffin is this:
Every first down is a pass that looks like a play that he is trying out or experimenting on. Most of them are not plays that the offense runs often and all of last year you would see that as sort of a “let’s see how this works out kind of thing.
Every second down is a running play when everybody knows that it is coming!!!!!!! I can see doing that for a while to bait people, but he never changes from it ever!!!!!! It is always 2nd and 10 and a running play when the line is stacked against it...
Every third down Ok now we have to start calling some real plays, and too many times he does an ala Paul Hackett and throws to a receiver short of the first marker. SC has the athletes to make plays and most of the time make more out of less than the play was original was drawn out to get. This was the case in the Norte Dame game Booty didn’t do anything special, those weren’t great play calls; DJ took advantage of less capable athletes trying to cover him. That’s it!!!!!!!
NOW THE REAL PROBLEM
When things are not going the offense’s way (AKA last Saturday) he insists on sticking with the original game plan!!!!! Like no way is my plan not going to work, it is the O-line’s fault, or JDB got happy feet and we are going to stick to my game plan and I don’t care what people think. This type of arrogance is what happened in the Norte Dame game last year, the Texas games last year and again last Saturday. He’s got to go plain and simple.
What's this www.firelanekiffin.com thing??
Trojan fans have finally become THOSE fans. The whiny, bitchy, never pleased, spoiled fans that everybody hates.
Let's complain about "Lame Kiffin" and let's embarrass ourselves and the program we support in order to fire someone with a stellar record as OC. "Lame" is one of the best recruiters out there. USC owes a lot of its success to this "Lame Kiffin".
Poor guy has a family, too. But let's fire him like yesterday's garbage. Obviously, ASU thinks highly of him to be a candidate for the HC job. Hearing so many people bitch lately makes me ashamed to be a USC fan.
SC lost to UCLA, folks. Deal with it. The team just wasn't ready to play that one game; they were probably tired after having dispatched 3 ranked teams in a row and coming from behind to win the Pac. It's not the end of the world, people.
IN PETE I TRUST!!!
