Crowd Control
Did anyone get caught in long lines at the Galen Center last night? It seemed like the building is having problems adjusting to any type of a crowd. About 15 minutes before tipoff, several lines were 50-people deep outside the arena.

The lines for the concession stands were ridiculously long. I guess it is hard for the Gallen Center to adjust to the fluctuation of the crowd when you have 1,500 come for Bethune-Cookman one night and then you have 7,500 people show up last night.
...but who cares. That was a ridiculous double overtime game. And USC finally had a great crowd last night considering it is Christmas Break... even Magnum P.I. showed up.
Noodles and Smiley had very good games, but Taj Gibson is going to be an unbelievable player. Mitch Kupchak was there and drooling over him...as well as Washington’s 7 foot freshman that drilled a 3 pointer at the end of the first OT to keep the game going. This is the most talented Trojan B-Ball team that I have ever seen (including the Clancy teams), but the only thing that they are lacking is a true point guard to help distribute the ball around. The loss of Francis has really hurt them in that department.
On a brighter note, Scott, it was nice to see you and your buddy Petros catching up pre-tipoff (you were very inconspicuous sporting the AIG). If anyone is needing a fix of the P now that he is off the air, you gotta hear him announce a USC B-Ball Game...it is priceless.
Damn I miss hearing the P.
