Nose guard Sedrick Ellis said today he will definitely return for his senior season. He said Lawrence Jackson's decision to return played a part in his own decision.
"He's my boy," Ellis said. "That put the laminate sealing on it."

So this officially means that we will only lose one starter on defense next season? (Dallas Sartz)

If you take into consideration that Josh Pinkard will be healthy enough to start again at the beginning of the year, that's pretty amazing.

Laminate? That's the biggest word I've heard a USC player use, other than "attorney," "felony" or "Gangbanger."

Great news left and right for SC's D next year.

ReelBruin -

You're right - DUI, hit-and-run, and jail are much smaller words - http://cbs2.com/topstories/local_story_345190953.html .

Scott-

You're our favorite insider. That's why the page gets so many hits...but why did Gary Klein at the (UC)LA Times report that Sam Baker and Chauncey Washington are staying before you.

Also, let us know when #55 Keith Rivers gets his feedback from the NFL and makes his decision.

Scott Wolf said:

I reported that Sam Baker was not going pro on the first day of training camp (check the daily news archives) and quoted Chauncey Washington saying he was not going pro about three weeks ago.
So if the Times writing it this week makes it news for you, in an attempt to follow up getting scooped on the Lawrence Jackson story, then I guess it is news.

I'm happy these guys are making the right decisions, as opposed to last year.

Most of the time when players leave early it has terrible results. They merely chase a small signing bonus. Not everyone is a Reggie Bush-caliber player.

Gee, I wonder if he's pissed as well that he lost to UCLA!

I could tell everyone right now if I was a junior defensive player for the Trojans and was part of the unit responsible for breaking the streak to the Bruins, I would want one more chance at those bastards.

These juniors returning for their senior seasons are coming back for 3 things
1)A chance for an undefeated season
2)National Title
and last but not least
3)Redemption vs FUCLA

P.S. JARRETT PLEASE CLIMB ON BOARD!
