According to several sources, UCLA players got so fired up because of comments directed at them by linebackers coach Ken Norton during pre-game warmups, they discussed the taunts in a huddle before the game for extra motivation.

If you have to even ask the question you probably don't belong here and know nothing about USC. Norton is one of USC's best coaches and a consistently great recruiter. The guy brings the intensity to practice everyday and probably relates to the young players better than anyone else on the staff - especially on the player to player level.
