In USC’s last game against Michigan in the 2004 Rose Bowl, 27 current Trojans were on the roster. Of those, just 5 played in that game.
LB Dallas Sartz (7 tackles, 2 for a loss, 1 sack, 1 deflection), TB Hershel Dennis (7 carries, 17 yards) and FB Brandon Hancock (2 receptions, 8 yards) all started. WR Steve Smith (1 reception, 9 yards), OT Kyle Williams and WR Chris McFoy also saw action.

So are there three guys on the roster who started in the 2004 Rose Bowl, or one? I don't know which post to believe.
