Maryland, My Maryland

USC freshman safety Antwine Perez is expected to transfer to Maryland. Perez also considered Rutgers and West Virginia, according to sources.
His departure is not totally unwanted because it frees up a scholarship amid fears of a scholarship crunch with 12 commitments and a large number of recruits that would like to commit to USC.

I think we all wish Antwine well. Personally I hope he picks Rutgers, it's an exciting program right now.

Speaking of scholarships, no mention on recent commitments to SC yesterday?

If SC gets someone better and Perez can't come back to haunt SC in future games thats cool too; still a bummer though

I hope he transfers to UCLA.

I hope the door hit him in the ass on his way out.

REALBruin is hilarious.

I agree with the Rutgers suggestion though. Could be a good fit. Close to home on a rebuilding program. He could be the man right away.

Bruce: Commitments? More than 1?? Who else besides Everson Griffen? This is getting more exciting by the day. ...and we thought John McKay's days were the good ones. Enjoy this while we can.
