Practice Recap
Some East Coast players, like linebacker Brian Cushing, were late to practice because their Christmas flights came back this morning. Otherwise, it was a short, crisp practice.
Fullback Brandon Hancock said he wants to come back for a sixth year but will meet with doctors before making it official.

The NCAA could give Hancock 100 years of eligibility and he will never survive a season. At least not if contact is involved. The guy may look like a tank, but he is as brittle and delicate and my 98-year-old grandma. Give the scholie to someone tough enough to play the game of football.
TroyMex65 maybe you should tell Brandon that to his face.
After the fullback disaster this year, and if Hancock recovers, I wouldn't mind taking a chance by keeping one of the better fullbacks in the country on scholarship for another year .
I gotta agree with that, I can't remember when he was healthy for a long period of time...just get him out of here. 75% of all the USC players seem to be more fragile than an eggshell or the unluckiest people on earth who keep getting hurt all the time. Like I said, it doesn't matter if you have the #1 recruting class if everyone is sitting on the bench with an injury and Travis Tofi is starting..
Brian,
We still have the package for you. Our uncle said it is great stuff. Hit us up when you have the chance.
Come on, Troy. Give me a break. We are only talking about one year to a guy who works diligently in the classroom and is a team leader on a team which could use some leadership. Yes, he has fought the injury bug, but do you want to pull Jeff Byers' scholarship as well?
