Today's sacking of Alan Pardew http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/6169349.stm throws the search for the next USC women's coach into turmoil because the Trojans never anticipated someone like Pardew might become available.
I think this line of humor has run it's course. Actually, it has long since run it's course ... and then some.
And why aren't they talking to Martin O'Neil?
From what I am hearing, longtime Hammers supporter & Iron Maiden bassist, Steve Harris, is the frontrunner to replace Mister Pardew.
I understand that Scott is very concerned about filling the void --- but we need to focus on the more pragmatic issues first. You do know that Klinsman turned down the U.S. Team recently? You don't suppose there was some other position on his mind, do you? My inside sources tell me to expect a blockbuster story in just a few days. Stay tuned, and fight on!
I really think we need to put the pressure on the athletic department...Pardew would bring a wealth of experience to USC. Keep it up, Scott!
