Yo Jaybee! Even Pete Carroll noted that the 'loss hurt more because UCLA didn't have to play its best game to beat' sc. The defense played as it had the previous 2 games, but the offense was far from being an efficient machine. In defense of allblu4u, UCLA only loses one defensive starter next year and everyone else has the confidence of experience going into next year. I expect sc to come out hard next year, but I fully expect UCLA to be ready to rumble also.

Bruce - Class and dignity?Get real. PC ran it up on us, going for it on 4th and 12 with starters in up like 50. There is no class at USC, and certainly none at the Coliseum. The USC Fans at the Coliseum are the worst fans I've ever dealt with. Don't delude yourself. Rough fans go both ways.

Trojans were classy the last 7 years? Pete Carroll said UCLA was the worst 9-2 team he had ever seen after last year's victory. Up huge at half, he said that he had no intention of laying off in the 2nd half. Which Trojan player said that the Rose Bowl is "really our second home" last week? This comes after the debacle against Texas last year, but he did say it. I wouldn't be mentioning classy in the breath as Trojan when it comes to players and coaches. Carroll is the guy trying to stop Chow from getting a job in the PAC-10. He wouldn't give Chow an endorsement for the Stanford job. He finds out that Chow is one of the front runners for ASU this year, and he promptly call up and recommends Sarkisian or Kiffin instead. He's classy.

For all of the experience that Pete Carroll has on Dorrell, KD sure is catching up fast. Carroll was outcoached last week. You guys think it's so great that Dorrell is around, but this is the first year that he has started to get recruits that Carroll and Co. wanted (Price, Carter & Forcier - and we only have 8-9 scholies to give). Now he has beaten you on the field. Could it be that he is developing? I mean, Carroll wasn't always successful. He had his own school of hard knocks. He learned, just like Dorrell has learned.
