I hope the fans get behind Booty next year. The Pac-10 Coaches and rivals.com both rated him over EVERY OTHER Pac-10 QB. And they know a lot more than fickle fans who hope that MAYBE the local OC kid Sanchez can be better.

Actually, yes they were. Chow used to get lots of criticism for "trying to be too cute" and not giving the ball to Lendale every play.

7 offensive points including ZERO second half points against a team which lost to Washington and has a very poor tackling secondary. Coaches have been fired for performances like this vs. rivals.

We have addressed this on this board time and time over, we LOST the National Championship game last year because of it and we are not going to the game this year because of it!!!!! get a clue. Lane Kiffin did NOT lose the NC game last year. The defense did that for us all by their little old selves. Remember a guy named Vince Young? Remember how he ran for over 200 yards and passed for another 200 at will?

Remember how Reggie made the bone-head play of his SC career by trying to lateral the ball to a guy I can't even remember?

Remember how Matt Leinart threw a pick in the end zone to a UT defender that made an incredible play?

The Offense scored 38 points and missed chances a few other times due to aforementioned bonehead plays and good defensive plays. For you to blame that on Kiffin when the defense could not get the stop when needed shows your bias. The Offense did their job and the defense didn't do their job. Maybe it's PC that should be fired.

Hey Matt H and Davie, if Lendale gets 15 carries in that first half of the Rose Bowl that game is not close and who called for Matt to throw into the end zone on that play??? Or the second down before the famous 4th & two he threw down field again instead of running the ball!!!!. So yes it is Lames fault and you two are no position to question my judgment. I can respect that you support Booty but the fact of the matter is HE TRIPS OVER HIS OWN FEET!!!! I know I know he was hurt or what ever excuse you will make for him. However I don’t blame Booty, I blame Kiffin for putting him in that position and not giving him help when it was Kiffin’s game plan that was not working.
