We Warned You

Some readers scoffed at our post earlier in the week about Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn's 60-yard run and the fact UCLA held four straight opponents to 60 yards rushing. But today UCLA quarterback Patrick Cowan rushed for as many yards as the entire USC team (55).

Yeah, exactly Wolf. And check back to that original post to see you dropped the hammer on all the idiot scoffers.

These blind fans just refuse to face the facts.

At least Carroll/Holt don't have to worry about Troy Smith making them look foolish.

Although someone else will.

USC's running game was a mirage this year. It looked nothing like what it did 2 years ago. Even last year's running game was suspect because of how the plays were called. Clearly, Lame and/or Sark do not know how to call games. PLus, they do not know how to make in game adjustments. Just look at all the games this year in the third quarter when USC got the ball to start the 3rd quarter, they rarely scored on their first drive in the second half. That is because Lame doesn't know what to look for and doesn't know how to counter moves. Although this loss probably hurts many of us alumni fans (and not Lame or Sark bc they are not alums) hopefully it means Sarkiffan either change their styles OR are FIRED. I really don't mind the latter, because I don't think these two are ready to coach our university. In Pete We Trust. Fight On! Now I'm going to have to take my lumps at work Monday.

I am a little relieved we aren't going to face Troy Smith and the Buckeyes and get embarassed. If we let Pat Cowan run on us like that we don't deserve to play in the national championship game. Sorry.
