What Loss?

USC coach Pete Carroll placed a gag order on mentioning the USC loss during his pre-practice speech on Saturday morning.
``We’re done talking about it,’’ offensive tackle Kyle Williams said. ``Coach Carroll told the team we’re not going to talk about it anymore.’’
Carroll even took the unusual step of not speaking about the loss to reporters.
``I’m not responding to that,’’ he said, when asked a question about the game. ``I don’t want anything more written about it.’’

What's with all the quotes from Kyle Williams? Is he still on the team?

... and yet Scott writes more about the game in his piece today. That's a top-notch reporter for you.

Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
