Coleman Improves

Freshman offensive tackle Martin Coleman, who is already enrolled at USC, is off crutches and walking fine as he recovers from a fractured lower tibia last month. Coleman said he is undergoing rehabilitation at USC but not able to participate in Winter workouts.

Great another Hershel Dennis..well he is injured again..redshirt..ooops ligament injury..sidelined for a year..

You know this is a contact sport right? They don't go prancing around in ballerina shoes and break down in tears when someone runs into them. How many injuries do you think other programs have every year? I doubt USC is special when it comes to injuries. Maybe if these guys were pulling muscles and hamstrings you could bitch about the strength and conditioning coaches not doing enough for the players, but no amount of conditioning is going to prevent an offensive lineman from fracturing his leg or a running back from tearing his ACL. This is what happens when 300-lb men strap on helmets and barrel down on other 300-lb men wearing helmets.
