He's Baaack, Part II

It's officially the Petros and Money show on 570-AM, whoever Money is. Former UCLA quarterback Wayne Cook and Joe Grande were casualties in the change.

Money is actually listenable. Dont know if the match will work. Petros seems to be better off on his own.

But at least Grande is gone and a bruin is now unemployed.

Grande absolutely made that show unbearable because he next to no knowledge of sports. I have to say Money is pretty good and I actually thought Wayne Cook did a good job and was very fair in his comments toward Trojans.

I think Petros will be better with someone else with him because that might keep him under control. His commentary is quite good when he's not going nuts.

An unemployed Bruin? Never heard of that before...

Any word on if their show is going to cover USC basketball?

Nice how the Daily News cannot even send Wolf or Kredell up to Oregon with the team to cover the trip. And for the sport's page editor I have a news tip for you...Saturday's game against Oregon St. is on FSN Prime Ticket at 3:00pm since...since you failed to put that on the Saturday's TV list. Nice how you were able to remember UNLV/Air Force, AMA Supercross, and Arsenal/Liverpool for the list.

I know this blog happens to "...Inside USC." I'm just wondering what that all entails.

Petros and Money should be pretty entertaining together, although a solo Petros show would be preferable. Money was the Sports Guy for KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Morning Show (which Petros is on occasionally so he kind of knows Money through the show) before he got his gig at 570, and he was actually pretty funny pre-570.

Glad they lost Grande and Bruin. Bruin was okay...for a Bruin, but Grande was most known for making the listeners ears bleed with his boring takes and lack of sports knowledge...he was 570's equivalent of El Capitan.

This could be a good show though Petros could overwhelm with his personality.

I was surprised Grande lasted as long as he did. The guy had no radio etiquette and couldn't interview to save his life. All he would talk about was eating carne asada tacos and his damn oversized SUV.

Couldn't agree with you more JJH4USC Grande really was the El Capitan of sports radio.

My two favorite things in life: Petros and money! It ought to be a beautiful show.

Hooray! Petros is back on my radio! 1-2-3-WHOO!! 1-2-3-WHOO!! 1-2-3-WHOO!! I luv de Doyers, and I luv de Petros!

Petros, may the Greek gods give you strength Monday to complete an amazing show.

I love you,
Nikos

money is fine - he was the only one who was actually listenable. Joe was a talk out of his ass guy who constantly laughed at his (non) funny comments. Felt like Wayne hardly chimmed in, assuming it was because Joe's loud ass wouldnt shut the hell up.

Anyone ever listen to Roggin and Simmers? Simmers is a straight shooter which I appreciate, most of the times theses hosts pussyfoot there way around touchy subjects to avoid confrontation. Or they could just be like butterknife and hardly take any comments or have a discourse with the caller.

WELCOME BACK OLE P!

I have missed your insanity on the radio.

One request.... for God's sake please leave "Lance Romance" back at 710....

And slap your Dad for not giving his sideline pass to Bush (nah, just kidding)

Am looking forward to the PMS show. Loose Cannoons is by far the best sports show in LA and 570 needed a show somewhat interesting to follow. I couldn't stand listening to Grande try and pretend that he knew something about sports. The bruin was OK but am still glad he's gone.
