Howard Jones Arena?

In 1946, Ohio State visited USC in what was billed as "The Howard Harding Jones Memorial Game." The Pigskin Review game program announced that fundraising was underway for funds to construct the proposed Howard Jones Memorial Field House; an architect's drawing of the proposed structure, which, among other things, would "house a memorial trophy room in addition to being the scene of Trojan basketball games," was included.
If USC considered naming an arena after Jones, maybe it can keep the football practice field (and sign) in his name too.
By the way, Jones played himself in the 1940 movie, ``Knute Rockne: All-American.''
