USC guard Daniel Hackett might set an NCAA record this week when he wears his third different number of the season. Hackett wore No. 11 until last Saturday when the number was retired in a ceremony honoring former USC great Bill Sharman.
So Hackett switched to No. 25 for the UCLA game. But he said he must switch again because Paul Westphal is getting that number retired too. Hopefully, whatever number Hackett wears this week is not scheduled to be retired. Maybe someone can check that.
