Risky Business
USC coach Pete Carroll knows if the Trojans fail to beat Michigan today, there will be a downpour of criticism, especially after last month's loss to UCLA.
``That’s how it goes in football,’’ Carroll said. ``Look how all the old opinions came back with UCLA because they lost (the Emerald Bowl).’’

Testing
Life was easier pre-Pete Carroll. Every loss was not lamented and analyzed ad nauseam. Can't a sports fan learn to take a loss like a man (if you are a man)?
I agree with Lawyer John. Man-up, Trojan fans, and just do work.
Stay loyal Trojan fans. The problems will work themselves out.
There are no problems! Were going to get the W! Life goes on and the cream continues to the top of the program. Those that cant hack it, leave, the rest contribute to the glory and believe me, it's glory!
Granted realistically, we'll win in spite of Kiffin, but that's because our young talent is up to the test against the very experienced upper class lineup from Mich. Fight On!

This is too much of a general statement. You will always havethose fans that are bandwagoners. Maybe they cry the loudest. However, there is a majority of the Trojan family that live by the "in Pete we Trust" motto. This would be a great thing for you to write about, Scott. Proof. At the SC/WSU basketball game at Galen Center, the football team arrived in the 2nd half to a rousing standing ovation demonstrating that we are proud of our team and very supportive.
