Sixth-Year Unlikely
Fullback Brandon Hancock is leaning against returning for a sixth season. Hancock said he does not want to jeopardize his future health and recently met with a surgeon who is a family friend but will seek one more opinion regarding his past knee injuries before making an final decision not to return.
Last week the NCAA approved a sixth year for Hancock. USC already has his scholarship for next season because Hancock was going to pay for the fall semester himself.

Why do all USC players have to be so damn self-centered. First the alleged Reggie issue and now this...
Doesn't BH realize that USC winning another championship should always come before his desire to "walk". Plus I'm sure PC will pay for any knee replacement surgery Brandon would need afterwards.
I'm kidding of course. Best wishes to Brandon whatever his decision.
I'm in a goofy mood today. Sue me.
That's too bad...all the best to Brandon.
So.....if S. Havili gets hurt again or leaves for his Mormon Mission...our FB is....? Thomas Williams again?
Too bad. Hell of a fullback who never showed off real potential.
Could have made NFL.
Fought hard against Texas.
I was looking forward to watching him play again. Would have been captain and provided leadership.
