Keep Trying

USC continues to recruit Verbum Dei linebacker Akeem Ayers, even though he is firmly committed to UCLA. He is the one player the Trojans covet from the Bruins' recruiting class.

Ummm....WRONG. Are you forgetting how hard the Trojans are working Brian Price? They sent a freakin limo to pick him up for an official he didn't even want to go on..and BP sent it home. And then USC offered also Ray Carter early, who also told USC to f*k off at the same time BP did. And, USC offered Forcier/went to his school to find him in UCLA clothes. Are you telling me also USC wouldn't take the #1 TE in the West, Chandler?

Nice try Trojans, we don't have many scholies this year, but what we got, stop pretending you didn't want.

Thou shalt not covet they rival's linebacker.

reelhead, company, etc., etc...:
1. Does anybody have tear rag for you?
2. It's that time of the month-recruiting month that is!
3. Recruiting is an all out war game.
On a remarkable note ex USC OL Bruce Matthews was elected to the NFL HOF.

Bruce Matthews becomes the [ELEVENTH] man out of USC to join NFL HOH more than any college surpassing Notre Dame, HA! Check:

reelhead watch your mouth, OK?

Well if Troy can 'grab' a recruit that is dear to the 'bel-airians' need's it is enticing esp. when they hype themselves up to win 'their' bowl game (against USC) every year and then usually fall from exhuastion in a real bowl game.

Get over yourself ReelBruin,

The players UCLA are praising as the cream of their class would be middle of the pack, nice additions at USC.

The stats don't lie:

5 star USC recruits - 5
5 star UCLA recruits - 0

4 star UCLA recruits - 7
4 star USC recruits - 9

The sad part about the whole deal is that USC could wind up with more 5 stars than UCLA has 4 stars by the time Wed rolls around. You can keep AA and BP. We'll live.

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
