Arkansas quarterback Mitch Mustain is out with former teammate, current USC wide receiver Damian Williams, right now as part of his visit to the campus.

I hope the two are with an L.A. native, because those two backwoods boys might get into trouble just walking around the 'hood. Stay safe you two, and if you come here, Mitch, welcome. Play well, and we'll love you. If you don't, we'll hate you, plain and simple.

Maybe Aaron and Mark went with them; just to have the future qb's show them around...hahaha

Only at USC will you find fans that complain when the No.1 ranked high school QB from the 2006 recruiting class is interested in transferring to your school. Am I the only one that saw some of Mustain’s highlights this year? He is a great talent. And while people seem to want to dismiss this kid, the big difference between Mustain and Corp/Sanchez (also great talents) is while Corp was playing high school football and Sanchez was sitting on the pine, Mustain was actually playing big boy football and took the Hogs to the SEC Title Game as a true freshmen.
Like USC’s RB position, the more talent we have the better. There are theses things that happen in college sports called injuries, so it helps have good back-ups. Do you remember when Cassel or Booty was supposed to take over the rains...but due to injuries some back-up QB named Leinart came in and became one of the best College QB’s ever.
Let’s let these kids compete and watch the cream rise to the top.
It's even worse over at the Scout and Rivals boards. The Sanchez/Corp love boarders creepy. Then again, I find grown men obsessing about 18 y.o. on Internet message boards, under the cover of anonymity, creepy. But that is just me.
Wonder if the Sanchez/Corp love has to do with the fact that they are local kids, while Booty and Mustain are not.
I don't understand why anyone would be opposed to the national player of the year enrolling at USC. He sounds like a great, morally upright young man. He has never been arrested for rape, never been in jail, and has not had any off the field issues.
He started eight games as a true freshman and won them all. He was, perhaps, the most coveted high school quarterback in history and he wants to come to USC. The coaches at USC want him to come to USC. They have held a scholarship for him. So why would anyone have a problem with any of this?
Can you name a bigger transfer throughout the history of college football? I cannot.
I agree that Corp has tremendous upside, but I would be sickened if that other sleazy quarterback, who has been arrested for rape, ever represents us as a starter. So I am so euphoric over Mustain coming in and positioning himself as the next Trojan starting quarterback.
I will be proud to have Mitch Mustain as a Trojan. He's one of the best talents I have ever come across, is a God-fearing Christian, and leads his life off the field with pride and dignity. He is just what we need to represent us on the football field. He's a born leader.
JJH4USC: Mustain was more than merely the "No.1 ranked high school QB from the 2006 recruiting class"; he was the No.1 ranked high school player in the entire country in 2006 for all positions.
He is an All-World talent.
