Pep Talk By Pete
USC coach Pete Carroll delivered a pre-game speech to the USC basketball team before its victory over Stanford. Not surprisingly, Carroll stressed defense as the key to winning and the Cardinal shot only 37 percent in the first half. The Trojans held Stanford to 41 percent in the second en route to a 69-65 victory.

"only" 56 % ?
glad we won-big win
Scott, PLEASE, enough with the misinformation.
Stanford shot 36% from the field in the first half, not 56%! (The Cardinal shot 40.7% for the game.)

This is getting embarrassing.
that's a real class move by PC. It meant alot to those kids. And he obviously helped them win the game.
The BB team is good and will get better next year with OJ coming in.
Maybe they can both get together and help the baseball team?
