Position Switch?

We hear USC is looking at recruit Trey Henderson as a defensive end more than a tight end.

Well I hate to be brutally honest but the guy is what, a 1 star recruit? Or 2? He will never see the field unless alot of people get injured...or it's 44-10 USC..

He's actually a 3-star recruit, according to scout.com, so I wouldn't say that this is entirely insignificant news. And hey 66, way to crap on the kid's career before it even starts. Classy move.

Seriously. Ever hear of Mike Patterson? He ended up doing pretty well for himself, despite not being fawned over coming out of high school.

Please research rivals.com, use your computer. Greg B is right. you walked yourself into a no man's land for no reason...

66:
Trey Henderson decommited from Washington and commited to USC...

Correction:
Trey Henderson decommited from WASU.
Thnx

Well Greg B, to be honest I am pretty sure Trey isn't much concerned with my opinion and neither is Pete Carroll so why don't you cut back on the amount of coffee you take in bud :o)

You got about a 9 out of 10 on the tension scale

USC1966;

Your comment has to be one of the worst ever on this board.

Not only is Trey Henderson a 3-star kid (not 1 or 2 as you so dismissively put it) but so were Chris McFoy, Justin Wyatt, Will Poole, Desmond Reed, Terrell Thomas, Eric Wright, Kevin Ellison, Travon Patterson, Ryan Kalil, Fili Moala, Josh Pinkard, Mike Patterson and both Ting brothers. I'm pretty sure that a few of the guys on that list got major playing time on USC's 2 NC teams.

Do you seriously consider yourself a Trojan fan or do you just moonlight as one?

Does anyone know how many stars Troy Polamalu was? I know he was lightly regarded by other schools. Just curious.

First of all, I don't drink coffee. It tastes like dirt.

On top of that, if the staff is recruiting him, there's probably a reason for it. Therefore it's really ridiculous of you to completely disregard the kid's entire college career before he sets foot on the PRACTICE field. He is a three-star recruit. Nothing to scoff at. Mike Patterson was a three-star recruit (thank you, scout.com...it took me almost 10 seconds to figure that out) and ended up being one of the best defensive linemen in the history of Trojan football. If this kid from Canada can contribute as much as Josh Pinkard, Terrell Thomas, or even Fili Moala (all three-star...found that out thanks to another 30 seconds on scout.com), the news about him switching positions is both worth posting and worth reading.

Lastly, I agree that neither Pete Carroll or Trey Henderson care about either of our opinions but I regularly find that your posts on this board are misguided and arrogant, so on behalf of the illustrious insidesocal.com/usc posting community I implore you that you clean your act up a bit.

Warmest regards,
Greg B.
