Pre-Game Backstory
When Pete Carroll spoke to the basketball team before Thursday night's game, several USC football players were also supposed to address the team. But they showed up too late, forcing Carroll to do a solo act. Maybe they were part of the hundreds of fans who arrived late because they were stuck looking for parking in the nearby structures.

Amazing, Matthew posts the same exact information on www.insidesocal.com/uschoops without the sarcastic slant.
As someone that was stuck in traffic getting to the game (took me almost 90 minutes from Diamond Bar, took less than 30 to get home after) I can tell you that parking was not a major issue. Parking and getting too the arena was less than 10 minutes total. Helps when you actually report what the problem was, not make a half-wit sarcastic suggestion since you got to the arena in plenty of time with your assigned parking.
I finally have it figured out Scott. You want to be the next TJ Simmers, but at least he actually knows how to apply sarcasm.
Also, took me 90 minutes to get to the game and 25 muinutes to get home.
PS - You also forgot to mention that everyon'e favorite USC Basketball Game Announcer, the P, missed about 1/4 of the Game as well.
It took me 1 hour 50 minutes from Van Nuys. Talk about Hell! Half an inch of rain and every freeway comes to a grinding halt.
Also, I feel sure Petros was not expected to arrive by the start of the game. He was on the air in Burbank until 7 PM.
