Personally, I think he's scared of the competition that graces the SC roster at his position. Come spring and summer anyones position is up for grabs. Freshman or not, you have to earn a spot in the starting lineup.

Agree with you DJM3. On the other hand, who can blame him - Michigan is a great school and he will have an easier time seeing the field and will receive plenty of national exposure from ESPN (East and South before Pacific Network).

I am really worried about this whole McKnight thing. Carroll was quoted as saying on Cowherd's show that Bush and McKnight had spoken to clear things up. McKnight also told the story about the speaker phone/conference call thing to media outlets, in his announcement, and to his coach. Now, I am reading that Carroll said it never happened. So, he said that it did happen the other day on the radio, and now he says that it didn't. I don't think that the NCAA will do much of anything because we produce so much money for the organization, but it makes us look bad.

I am so not worried about that. What's the harm? Who's been hurt?

The Bush/McKnight thing shows that worry IS in recruits heads.
And regardng " don't think that the NCAA will do much of anything because we produce so much money for the organization, but it makes us look bad" that is a typical Trojan remark that $ makes unethical behavior ok. I guess cheating does run in the Trojan family. No wonder you guys are the proud school of OJ, ReyRey, EWright, Frostee "the Rapist" Rucker (nice expose on TV about him btw), ........

Seriously, ReelBruin, go away.
Ricky Manning, Jr., Tyler Ebell, Maurice Jones-Drew, Justin Medlock, Junior Lemau'u, DeShaun Foster, and so on and so on and so on.
Here begins the official petition to have ReelBruin banned from this board.

I second that Greg B.
ReelBruin,
Why the bitterness in your last several posts? Is it because despite your 13-9 program changing victory, UCLA only signed as many total recruits as USC signed Five Star Recruits? Or is it because you are stuck with Karl Dorrell for an extra year after the latest 1 year contract extension? Or is it because recruits still believe that 13-9 was a fluke and that they do not want to play for a team that loses in the Emerald Bowl (even though they could start right away)? Don’t worry, just enjoy yourself, UCLA beat USC at Football this year AND UCLA just swept SC at Basketball and is sitting alone in 1st place in the Pac-10 (although the disparity between UCLA and USC’s talent is continuing to get smaller and smaller).
Okay ReelBruin! If recruits ARE truly worried about the Reggie Bush allegations, why was USC able to land the No.1/No.2 Recruiting Class in the Country? The only people that are worried about Bush are you and yahoo sports.
And while you are generalizing...a typical UCLA remark would be to say something like:
“I guess cheating does run in the Trojan family. No wonder you guys are the proud school of OJ, ReyRey, EWright, Frostee "the Rapist" Rucker (nice expose on TV about him btw), ....... - ReelBruin
And do you REALLY think that UCLA is the model program when it comes to honesty and integrity in College Sports and quality athletes? No skeletons in your Bruin closet? Sam Gilbert and UCLA’s historic Basketball teams practically invented booster improprieties in College Sports. Jim Harrick was also a quality NCAA recruiter for UCLA...very honest and never cheated.
And as far as UCLA athletes are concerned, while you do not have any known murders, there have been quite a few less than model citizens over the last few years:
Felony assault charges filed against Ricky Manning, Tyler Ebell and Maurice Mouth-Drew... beating up some kid studying at Denny’s.
A.P. All American, Justin “DUI Medlock running away from an accident (and his passenger) on the 405.
John Hale and Jess Ward arrested for felony assault charges.
And who can forget the distinguished young athletes on the UCLA Football Team that used Handicap Placards to park on campus so they didn’t have to walk as far to classes (are you really an athlete if you have to use a Handicap Placard?). A very proud Bruin moment there.

Oh look who shows up... Reelbruin! Been awful quiet from our friend in baby blue and yellow. I guess his false prediction of UCLA greatness has kept him under his rock. Reality has set in on UCLA's 38th ranked recruiting class... it sucked!

UCLA is awesome. They are turning their program around. You just watch. They beat USC last year. Dorrell is a genius. It was all Karl Dorrell in that game. Not Walker. Dorrell!!
Do not pay any attention that they lost in a crappy bowl that no one watched. It means nothing. Pay attention to the win over USC. UCLA is sure to win the Pac next year. You wait. USC won't be out for blood in next year's game.

Petingtong,
That is the funniest email I've read for a long time. I am going to assume that you were being sarcastic...but I hope you were not...because that would be even funnier!

Here's guessing that ReelBruin wanted to be ReelTrojan; but like the girl in high school, kept driving by your house after you broke up.

Please don't ban the "Reel"..It's such good comedy reading her pathetic whiney drivel.. and anyway, she'd just switch over to her other handle...Miguelita.

Fellow Trojan faithful,
Why do you empower Trojan haters, like reelbruin & pettythong, by responding to their provocative comments? Lets keep the content of this blog focused on the subject at hand (Trojan issues) and less on those irrelevant and ignorant anti-USC posts.
Now, where were we.
You can't knock Donovan Warren too much for taking the low road (Michigan). Everybody's priorities are different. Some thrive on competition against the best, such as those 5-star players that still choose USC, and others would rather choose the easier road of lesser competition and have the starting positions promised or "given" to them. Unfortunately, Donovan has chosen the latter.
Perhaps reality will set in when he joins the future Michigan teams on the losing end of the Rose Bowl, especially if it is against our beloved Trojans. It would be better for him and his Wolverines teammates if they were watching USC hand out ass whoopings on TV, versus getting one in person on the field - similar to what happened at this year's Rose Bowl. Mind you, the All-American Michigan CB that was repeatedly burned by USC receivers was a native Californian (Leon Hall). I guess Donovan Warren is trying to repeat history.
I love our Trojans. Fight On, indeed!
