According to reports, police used tear gas on Manchester United fans who tried to climb a barrier because of overcrowding at their Champions League match with Lille.
Sounds a little bit like the USC-Nebraska game.

Utd should be banned from the rest of the competition for clear unsporting play and the ref should be banned from further competition. They were outplayed by a tough Lille today and took a cheap shot with play dead. Lille should have walked off as their manager wanted.
dericolsen, how and where are you watching the EUFA matches? I can't seem to find a source for all the games in the states.
Also, I met a few "big red" fans in the line of the coliseum who could have used some tear gas themselves...

UEFA games are shown on live on Setanta Sports - Channel 615 on DirecTV and live on ESPN2. Setanta also shows same-day replays of all the games.

Did the athletic department agree to one single thing that student senate brought to their attention? Or do we expect similar crushed student crowds in the first 2 games of 2007 that occurred in each of the past 4 years (well maybe not for the Idaho game)? How about getting the noisy students back to the 50 yard line, getting rid of the terrible spirit squad, and getting students out of the sun blech deck.
