Autograph Alert
Former USC quarterbacks Matt Leinart and Matt Cassel are participating in a passing clinic today at San Marino High School. At least one of those Matt's will probably give you an autograph. And you can ask Cassel about the similarities playing behind Leinart and Tom Brady.
Here is a couple of questions you can ask him:
How much will it hurt when you are stripped of the one national championship that you won and have to forfeit the two best seasons in your career because of Reggie Bush?
How much will it hurt to go from losing once to UCLA to forfeiting two more games against them and having lost 3 in a row to them?
In perhaps its biggest one-day recruiting haul in recent memory, UCLA got commitments from eight local Los Angeles prospects, including top 100 players like safety Rahim Moore from Dorsey and wide receiver Kemonte Bateman from Crenshaw. Hey Bill, neither Matt Leinart or Matt Cassel ever lost to UCLA when they played on the team. Maybe if you are going to try and make a smart remark, it would pay to actually be smart.

I think Matt would like to ask Bill a few questions as well. For example:
1. How does it feel to live in a fantasy world where you think a year old accusation will magically lead to sanctions and strip USC of its TWO national titles?
2. How pathetic is your team when you need to pray for forfeit wins just to pad your stats against a crosstown rival that has owned you in every facet for the past 7 years?
If the NCAA had anything, we would know something by now.
And congrats on landing Moore...but we already have Ellison, Pinkard and Mays, all for at least the next two seasons at safety. At WR, Turner, Hazelton, Rojo, Ausberry, Holland etc...all those guys would be a number 1 at SUCLA...we'll be fine thanks.
