Cornerback Crunch

Kevin Thomas is also questionable for spring practice following his post-season surgery. With Terrell Thomas already out following shoulder surgery, it means Shareece Wright and Vincent Joseph will get plenty of reps. It also means double duty for Mozique McCurtis, as we mentioned before.
Garrett Green will remain at quarterback and not help out at safety this spring. And speaking of surgery, assistant coach Todd McNair underwent an operation on his torn Achilles.

Better question is whether a Pete Carroll team will ever not be decimated by injuries. The competition and hard paractices, training all make more victories and better players, but at same time too much possibly for such young age and ligaments.

Added to that is today's size and speed make it a more dangerous game than decades past.

USC is close to geeting a verbal from CB Deion Walker from Virgina. 6'4 189 pounds and runs a 4.4 with a 37 inch vertical leap. Had 8 int' last year. Also a 2 time state champion in the triple jump. USC is also recruiting Will Hill from New Jersey and he is also 6'3 and runs a 4.4. Coach Carroll loves Big CB's.

Miguleito: I've seen your myspace page. I think you are the one "blowing", my friend.

Morantz: The intense practices are why SC under PC starts out strong and generally finishes that way. Last year's Arky game was a case in point: Nutt wouldn't allow contact on either McFadden or Jones, and they coughed up the ball three times. They drawback is the middle of the season, where the grind gets on players. The injuries are one reason why PC can recruit awesome classes year after year: kids know that a few players ahead of them will go down, and all kids think the ones going down will not be them

hahaha...way to post Desmo..

Take your beat down like a man migeulito

I consider the CB situation to be huge problem T. Thomas is a senior, C. Harris and K. Thomas are juniors, and J. Pinkard is a junior also. So in a year or 2....

We really needed Donovan Warren...
