Cushing Update

Linebacker Brian Cushing strained his hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Monday. It’s not known how long he will be out. Cushing was on crutches Thursday night but also walked on his own without problems.
``It really scared me at first,’’ Cushing said. ``I thought it was a tear. I’ve never done that before. We’ll see how long it takes. It’s not like there is a game on Saturday.’’
The initial reaction at USC was that it could have been worse.
