Dual Role

We visited Servite High School and heard an interesting tidbit: Linebacker Chris Galippo might also try longsnapping next season. That would help answer the question of who would handle those duties in two years when Will Collins graduates.

Galippo is hands down one of my favorite recruits ever at USC.

Not only did he play an integral part in recruiting other elite athletes to USC but now he is willing to be a long snapper?!?

How many other 31 LBs would offer their services at a position that gets no publicity. The guy clearly has no ego and will do whatever is necessary to see the field.

Bravo Chris...

It was reported on Feb 24th that SC added a future long snapper to the roster. Nolan Owen from Temescal Canyon High School accepted an offer to join the USC program as a preferred walk-on.

The classic 31 typed instead of #1 in the previous post. Nice. Stupid keyboard.

UNIVERSITY OF CRAPPY LITTLE ADULTS DOES IT AGAIN!!

Galippo (along with future Trojans Matt Kalil & DJ Shoemate) talked about playing for SC since they were kids. Ruin players didn't grow up dreaming of playing in Westwood, they just weren't good enough to don the Cardinal & Gold.

Can't wait to see Chris Galippo laying waste to ucla and Notre Shame. Fight ON!

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
