The Emerald Nuts game is considered a bowl game?

and 2+2=4 and the sky is blue. crack reporting mr. wolf.

Come on Dan, you have to admit it is an interesting fact.

I'm surprised more people aren't mentioning the possibility of an Ohio St.-Florida national title game. That would be an interesting story.

My hope however is the Pac-10 continues to show the quality conference that it is, gets all three to the Final Four and we beat UCLA in a rematch for all the marbles.

That being said, beat the Tar Heels.

FYI: Kredell has a great blog going on for USC hoops. It's not as visible as Wolf's blog, so I thought I'd post a link here.

Keep up the good work all you Daily News journalists.

Tim Floyd has already outdone Pete Carroll. He beat Texas when it mattered and won a game that couldnt be lost. Maybe Pete should have Floyd talk to the team before big games to fire them up and not vice versa.

89, watch your mouth. This board is for making fun of UCLA, not pitting our own athletic teams against each other.

haha, that was kind of funny 89. Greg B is a little slow don't mind him.

Burn on me...oops

Great showing by our guys, but not an upset, as I had SC beating the Shorthorns in my bracket. The Trojans are just a better team, and isn't it interesting that only Georgetown, Kansas and yes - our USC Trojans - are winning their games comfortably so far?

Since I hate 9 out of 10 Pac-10 schools, I can never bring myself to ever root for Oregon or ugh, ucla, conference pride be damned! Here's to SC & ucla not meeting for the national title simply because I never have & never will root for ucla to ever win their next game.

Go Coach Floyd and our high-flying Trojans!!!

Although I wouldn't root for UCLA (frankly, I'm not watching any of their games), I would give my right kidney to win our first Bball national championship with a win over the bRuins.

Getting ahead of myself? Yes. Fun to daydream? Yes.

I am not sure if I would count "The Emerald walnut" bowl as a REAL bowl..that is up there with the Motor City "Bowl"....

UCLA is always good for talking themselves up though.

:o))

BEAT NC!

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
