Pocket Recruit

Venice tailback Curtis McNeal, who committed last week, measured in at 5-6 1/2 last month, which makes him an ideal replacement for Desmond Reed.

I thought that was Travon Patterson...

I guess I am not really sure what role that is...punt returns? I thought McKnight was going to be doing that...slot receiver? I thought that was Jamere Holland or T. Patterson?

I do believe his job will be to ride the bench until he is a junior or senior then once it is his chance to start or play, get hurt.

This kid is quoted as saying that he was getting Reggie's role, so he is obviously expecting to play.

He's a gamebreaker and a guy you want on your team. Deion Walker is next.

I can not see how he expects to get Reggie's role with all the other talent ahead of him, unless he means 3 or 4 years down the road.

Also, Giorgio when can we expect the Deion Walker announcement?

Our coaches told him he wwas being brought in to take Reggie's role, that's why he expects it.

Next Maurice Drew? or Tyler Ebell?

First, this kid will not be here until 2008. Secondly, we have Joe McKnight coming in for this season (as long he is eligible). And you can bank on both Travon and Jamere getting long looks this spring and summer (along with Joe when he arrives). Don't forget about Chris Polk coming in 08. He is very similar to Percy Harvin (just what PC wants). And Giorgio, where are you getting your info from? Isn’t great to be able to shop at Nordstrom’s rather than Wal-Mart. Fight On!
