Wow...I wish I was there to tell him I told you so. That sucks for DJ. For a guy that really wants to separate himself from Mike Williams, he did a poor job of showing it. I know some people are just naturally faster that others, but when Dallas "NFL Europe" Sartz runs a faster 40 time than you....geez. He needed to come back for another year and not because he would get faster, but because he would get more visibility. And the fact that Calvin Johnson, Ted Ginn, Robert Meachem and others are coming out..good luck getting to the early part of the second round.

Scott Ware? He didn't even get drafted. You are a Bruin. What a clown. DJ will be fine. Anquan Boldin ran a 4.7= NFL Rookie of the Year and pro Bowler, Marcus Colston ran a 4.78 and he did very well. Ofcourse Jerry Rice ran a 4.6. Thos guys are football players and DJ is a football player.

Dwayne Jarrett also runs slower than a linebacker. And a weak linebacker at that. If you think he should have gone pro, even in hindsight, you must be the Bruin, douchebag. Don't hate on Scott Ware, he will own you.

Do we have offical numbers for the rest of the players instead of what was gleaned from NFL.com? Perhaps results for Kalil, Steve Smith, Chris McFoy and others?

Disappointing times, but I think Jarrett is one of those guys who is just faster in pads. We saw him run past Leon Hall in the Rose Bowl...and Hall is supposedly a top 10 pick!
If he can get his times consistently in the 4.5's, which isn't a huge stretch, he could have a great career.

Jarrett is going 16th to the Packers, yeah just like Reggie is going #1 over-all, and Mattie will be drafted 3rd over all by the Titans... Oops, didn't turn out that way. In other words, don't buy the Mel Kiper hype right now. Who knows for sure where or when DJ will be picked. One thing for sure though, who ever gets DJ, will end up with a "steal". 40 times on a pro-day do not make an NFL career.

Well, at least he was faster than Kyle Williams (even though Kyle got an early start)!
