Hopefully A. Goldston is a player. It would be nice to have some depth at FB.
And..Blimey! 2 Limeys!! Do they realize what kind of "football" this is?

You would think USC has more than enough CB and WR.
Line positions need to add weight.

But good luck to all and have fun,

Chet,

Sorry to disappoint you but Goldston will not help at fullback. Him and his brother were the two small white kids on the end of the basketball bench in the 2006 season. They are there because dad is a huge booster. (I've got no problem with that, but just don't expect them to play. EVER!)

"Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame quarterback Dayne Crist (6-4.5, 228) finally got the local offer he was waiting for on Thursday.

"USC offered," Crist told Scout.com. "It puts them among the top."

The offer from the Trojans gives him 11 offers in all, but more importantly now gives him an offer from each of his top seven schools, which also includes LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Oregon, Iowa and Stanford.

Minnesota, Arizona, Duke and Nebraska round out his offer list. "

Hey, Where is UCLA? I thought UCLA was THE football in Southern California, a team that "OWNED LA" ?? And USC is "ghetto" and "Full of criminals" and the academics "are a joke" while UCLA is harder than Yale or something and the football team is tops in the USA..that's waht these UCLA fans post on here...that's odd he doesn't seem to have this paradise on Earth called "UCLA" on his list...But he has USC.

Why?

BECAUSE UCLA SUCKS ASS

Goldston Brothers are athletic kids, I remember seeing them in practice last season when I attended basketball practice. Also, I am almost positive their father is an Ohio State alumni (and 100% he is not a USC alum), so I would find it particularly strange if he was a "huge" USC booster. Just my .02, Hopefully Adam can help us at fullback; however this is USC, and he is a Walk-on, so I don't know if that is realistic. Lastly, 6'0 200 and 6'0 180 don't really seem like "small white kids" to me, but know knows. Fight on!

From the 05-06 BB Media Guide:

Ryan Goldston: 5-10 165 lbs
Adam Goldston: 5-10 180 lbs

Ryan played 1 minute in 1 game and had 1 turnover.

Adam was a season-long DNP.

Would have been more competitive as girl-team practice players.

I remember the Goldstons!

Boys grow 'til they're 21, but 6-foot-nothing is still tiny.

I see a few feature ideas there. Don't jack 'em, Scott!

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
