Grade Check
Matt Spanos said he is still doing well academically with finals approaching. Remember, he needs a 2.3 GPA, a mark he didn't make last fall. Neither did Troy Van Blarcom, for that matter.
``School's going good,'' Spanos said.

If his cumulative GPA goes above 2.0, he is no longer on academic probation.
If his semester GPA is 2.3 and above, but his cumulative is still below 2.0, he can remain in school but will still be on academic probation.
Once someone is on academic probation, they have two semesters to get back in good academic standing or else they are kicked out. The exception is if their semester GPA is 2.3 or above, then they can remain in school, but cannot graduate unless their cumulative goes above a 2.0.

Hoping he does well, but not counting on it.

Two weeks ago at the SC Saturday practice, a walk on dropped his helmet while he was tending to an injury he sustained. Spanos, who was too stupid to notice the blood coming from the walk ons mouth, told him to "pick up your f%$*@n helmet!". One of the DB's, who was on the gimp squad, said to the other gimp squad DB: "he should pick up his f&*%$n grades".
Memo to Spanos- Dude, what are you some kind of idiot? my god, academic probation! are you kidding me, do you know what kind of opportunity is in front of you? I guess you don't you goofball....Learn to say "would you like that supersized"....it will help you later on....

Your point is? Or why don't you just slam Spanos like this dweeb: "Memo to Spanos- Dude, what are you some kind of idiot? my god, academic probation! are you kidding me, do you know what kind of opportunity is in front of you?"
You sound like you have a ucla complex.

"You sound like you have a ucla complex."
Ucla Complex. Is that anything like Stockholm Syndrome?

I think a preferred response by Trojan fans would have been, "School's going WELL" rather than Spanos' response of "School's going GOOD."
Basic english should never be frowned upon.

Clay Matthews set the standard for such a poor grasp of the English language among SC football players with his White Nation declaration, so Spanos' "School's going good" comment hardly comes as a surprise.

And you've never made a simple mistake? Oh, wait, you just did. "English" should be capitalized, and rarely should a sentence end with a preposition. Touche.
