From an Arkansas fan:
"About Mustain...
Casey Dick had MORE passing yards, LESS Interceptions and 1 less TD pass. This was done with 3 less starts and against a much tougher part of the schedule. Don't tell me how much HE got screwed. The truth is that ARKANSAS got screwed into thinking we they had an all star on our hands. Without Darren McFadden and Felix Jones, we would have done good to win 5 games.
Casey Dick isn't an all star either. The truth is that he was average at best, so Mustain really SCREWED HIMSELF by wanting to transfer as he could have possibly won back his starting spot. He would rather act like a baby that has no integrity or character. For those of you that don't know, his family is still trying to drag Arkansas and Houston Nutt through the mud on a daily basis. I just want him out ASAP.
He won't see the field at USC."
If he can’t beat out Casey Dick, how’s he gonna beat out Mark Sanchez and Aaron Corp?

Moody seems like a good man. Hope he'll be back to 100%.

Wish Moody well also!
As for Mitch Mustain,
Don't know about the completiong percentage and all that jazz, but what counts Wins, he never lost as starting QB at Arkansas, won at Auburn, and the games that Arkansas lost Dick was the starting QB if I'm not mistaken. Pete Carroll will give him a chance to compete which is all anyone can ask for and we'll see how it comes out! Don't know the history on him at Arkansas with Nutt, but I do know that if it isn't broke you don't fix it and you don't bench and undefeated QB in my opinion anyway.

Rex:
If you don't know about stats then WHY do you open your mouth? You decided to run your cheap gas anyway without anything to back-up your chops-by your own admission.
He did NOT beat any tough SEC teams. His completion % was around 55% and his QBR was 70% using the NFL formula. You got a computer use it to research MM, Houston Nutt, etc. and then open your mouth once you have taken time to educate your:
BRAIN...

Door Prize I do know my stats the only one that counts is wins and Mitch Mustain did not lose as starting QB at Arkansas. If that stat is incorrect and he lost as the starting QB please update the forum on that aspect, as for the other stuff, completion percentage and all that is secondary to wins!
Also when Mustain beat Auburn at Auburn they were considered a tough team at that time and Auburn I do believe beat the National Champion Florida Gator so I would say that Mustain did in fact beat a quality team at Auburn! Feel free to educate me on this if either of these to stats are incorrect.

goliathheaddavidboy and REXhead:
If MM was so good that he went:
Eight and O, WHY was he benched the rest of the season? Eight and O is such a perfect record that Houston Nutt decided to bench him. You bunch of naive idiots stopped thinking and that point. You are in such denial that you believe a CFB Head coach is so dumb that he decides to bench an 8-0 QB for NO reason, WOW? You are the CFB expert minds of the universe. Hail to these idiots.

Well Mr. Door Prize lets look at the schedule
2006 Schedule
DATE OPPONENT RESULT/TIME
09/02 #6 USC L 50-14
09/09 Utah St W 20-0
09/16 at Vanderbilt W 21-19
09/23 Alabama W 24-23
10/07 at #2 Auburn W 27-10
10/14 SE Mo St W 63-7
10/21 Ole Miss W 38-3
10/28 at ULMONROE W 44-10
11/04 at S Carolina W 26-20
11/11 #13 Tennessee W 31-14
11/18 at Miss St W 28-14
11/24 #9 LSU L 31-26
12/02 at #4 Florida L 38-28
01/01 vs #7 Wisconsin L 17-14
Of the six games that Mustain didn't start you lost 4 of them, so I guess Goliath and I might do a much better job than Houston (I'll text message over a 1000 times to a female reporter) Nutt!
And one of those wins was to Mississippi State and they suck so yeah we could do better! And instead of attacking the USC fans on this forum go back to the Ozarks and talk your Hog talk. As for USC we'll beat Arkansas any day with any QB!
