Didn't hear how David Buehler did kicking the ball during Saturday's game. FG's, PAT's, kickoffs? What were the results? Did the NCAA move the kickoff line back to the 30 for the upcoming season? Did he kickoff from there?
What is the status of Lawrence Miles? Although many have written him off, I saw photos of Lawrence giving Howell some fits in practice. Is he about to make the jump to the rotation?
Actually no one is making racist attacks against Sanchez on this blog site. You're confusing that statement with the fact El Capitan claims that anyone who supports Booty or Mustain over Sanchez must be racist. And he goes on and on about it. It's all in his head, no one else's.
Scott, Can you tell me what is the offensive philosophy of not using the shotgun formation and always taking the snap from under center, even in obvious passing situations?
Thanks.....

Scott, is anyone going to tell Taylor Mays to wrap up the ball carrier; he relies on "knocking" people to the ground. Also, is anyone going to show him how to use angles better?
Is there any chance Dennis gets a 6th year of eligibility? And if he does, where is he likely to wind up on the depth chart?
And what’s the general feeling amongst the coaching staff as to Sanchez’s future as USC’s starting QB? Do they like what they see? Are they disappointed with his development? It seems like the kid has all of the physical tools, but he just doesn’t have “IT” on the field.
Yes, I would like to know about the play calling from Sark and Morton from Saturday.
Would Rojo be open to playing CB if he knew he could start (or significantly help if injuries at CB persisted) or was he told that WR was his position at SC "no matter what happens"?
In an interview, I read that Rojo would prefer to play DB in that DB's make the most money in the NFL and every NFL needs three great ones.
Sorry, had to chime in on the last sentence.
My question: Who is going to get the hallowed jersey #42? It was worn by Dallas Sartz most recently. It was also Ronnie Lott and Eric Affolter's jersey. I would hope a Kevin Ellison or Malcolm Jones would get the first shot at the jersey. Thanks!
Recruiting questions about LB Poly:
What were the real reasons Donovan Warren went to Michigan?
Why didn't USC go after Kenny Rowe at DE?
They haven't got the best player out of Poly for a few years now - are they losing their grip on Poly and some other local schools?
Please do a little family background check. Is there a Charles Buehler in the immediate family tree of David Buehler? (perhaps grandfather). Charles has a football history and was a neighbor of mine in Whittier when I grew up a long time ago, in a land far, far away. Just curious.
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Did Ryan Kalil really sell his soul to the Devil to get someone so out of his league like Natalie Nelson to marry him?

Will Stafon Johnson be playing at all this year?
How serious are they about Hershel Dennis? I mean, is he going to start some games?
Are we ever going back to the 3-4?
Are we going to be playing it real conservative the first 5 or 6 games like last year? Or are they going to open it up right away?

Why doesn't Averill Spicer play more often?
How are the other FB's doing? Besides Havili?
What about RoJo?
Will L. Brown be playing alot?
How is PC prepping the guys for this season? I hear we will be #1 starting the year and everyone will be gunning for us..

Do you think this will be Carroll's last year at SC, as many have predicted? If so, who are some of the names that will be considered as replacements?

What's the plan to get Mays, Ellison, & Pinkard all on the field at the same time? What is the consensus on Pinkard @ CB?
Echo to USC1966 question about Luthur Brown?

How is coach Morton working with the WR? Is he getting into the recruiting game?
I also am curious about the kicking.
How is Spanos ankle? Will Byers be moving over to fill his role?
Will we see any Safety blitzes using Taylor Mays?
Thanks again for the open forum.

I just wanted to thank Scott again for the open forum I have two questions:
1. I know it's a way off and more of just asking an opinion. But is there a real chance that Rey would go pro after this season?
2. Not that I have real complaints about last year but will the offense be more agressive? The shotgun seems to lean toward the idea.

All signs point to us landing the best Poly player this year in Jurrell Casey.
He already has an offer to play DT, and lists us as High interest. Not to long ago he was rumored to have committed, but softly, w/e that means.

1. How is Michael Coleman doing? I would love to see him get some PT
2. If we are staying in the 4-3 defense, who will be the DE's next year? Moore and Griffin?
