USC coach Pete Carroll said the offense appeared sluggish during Sunday's scrimmage and made it a top priority during Tuesday's practice.
``I could feel we were struggling a little bit and really can add to the tempo,’’ he said. ``It might have gotten away from us. The guys really picked it up (today).''
