Former USC wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett on former USC wide receiver Mike Williams from the Best Damn Sports Show: ``If you watch my film, there is no comparison.''

Right, there is no comparison, other than the fact that they are both big tall wide receivers with good hands albeit a little slow. And both played at SC.
I do hope DJ does well though and has a better work ethic than MW. And I hope if Mike gets traded he picks up his game and starts trying harder.

I think DJ is going to be the steal of this draft if he falls to the bottom of the first round or the second round, like people are saying.

Him and Eric Wright both.....

And he's right. There is no comparison. BMW was a far far far better college wide receiver. He literally abused opposing defensive backs in 2 short years. And unlike Jarrett, he never disappeared in games except for his freshman year against KState.
Jarrett like Jamarcus Russell benefitted from the hype of playing against the Pop Warner Notre Dame defense.
Jarrett's still a great great WR, but as far as college players go, BMW was a MAN among little tiny boys.

There is no comparison between DJ and BMW. Mike Williams was far better. Forget the Detroit Lions, concentrate just on USC. Williams just dominated opponents and didn't go down with a hurt shoulder from taking a hit like DJ did in the Arizona game. BMW loved to get hit and do some hitting of his own. Never did the quick pass out in the flat work so well. DJ would catch it and turn it in to 4 yards, while Mike Williams would catch it and turn it in to at least a first down. Anyone remember the infamous loss against Cal? Remember the 50 inch vertical Mike Williams got to block that field goal?DJ still has the opportunity to prove his work ethic at the next level, but DJ and BMW aren't in the same league looking back at the collegiate level.

Sounds like fear to me. DJ knows hes falling to the second round. Who the hell leaves early to be a second round draft pick? Only a guy dumb enough to try and follow the lead of Maurice Clarrett. That would be Williams for those with short memories.

Befire 2005 season I watched USC highilight 2003 seson (BMW soph) and 2004 season (DJ freshman) and then realized DJ was more talented then BMW. When I would state that then, few believed.

Baxterbob,

You pointed out that jarret disappeared in games and that he benefitted from playing Notre Dame; I could have sworn USC played Notre Dame when Williams was at USC but I could be wrong. I suggest you go back and watch the films from the three BCS games jarret played in before you talk about him disappeaing in games. When it mattered most Big Game Dwayne always came through. He will always have a special place in the heart's of USC fans for that disappering act he pulled off at Notre Dame. The only thing that came close to disappearing was the ball when he looked up into the lights on 4th and nine with vision in only one eye.

baxterbob has a good point...both him and JR made their name against the joke notre dame calls a "defense".

Although Notre Dame pretty much sucks in general.

DJ is a good player, but he should of stayed 1 more year to work on his speed. Right now he is just like Williams...big and slow. And we all know what Williams has done, although he has had to play for the Lions. I live in Detroit and trust me, playing for the Lions can ruin your life and football career. hahaha

Great English grammar and sentence construction from a supposedly college graduate:
"but he should of stayed..."
Mr. 66:
How about:
He should HAVE stayed... It does NOT sound barbaric like the butchered garbage you wrote does it? That verb conjugation that you slaughtered is called past participle. Didn't you learn that in the fifth or sixth grade? If you have any decency don't dare to have the audacity to prance like a damn peacock and say how majestic you are. Watch Bill O'Reilly on Fox and you might learn something. No wonder Prince Charles said Americans like 66 butcher the English language.
66 coming from a so called college graduate your English is pathetic and there is not any excuse for it, again it is pathetic...

1st: Please be specific. "66" looks like me.
2nd: You meant to say "supposed college graduate." Supposed is an adjective, supposedly is an adverb. To use supposedly, you should say "somebody who supposedly graduated college."
3rd: You are missing some commas. For instance, "decency, don't" and "66, coming"

Hopefully, your post is some weird joke I don't get.

Nice try:
your correction:
to use supposedly: "you should say: "somebody who supposedly graduated college". You are brilliant alright! Mr. Clinton/Mr.Selective how about his: he should of...? I hope in hell you are NOT a lawyer-you can NOT even BS the right way: SAD.

His grammar sucks. Your's sucks too. My only point was that you shouldn't correct people's errors on a message board if you make the same errors. The only time I ever correct grammar is when someone attempting to correct grammar uses improper grammar.

Also, for the record, he didn't slay the "past participle," which is "stayed." Nobody said you were a genius Door Prize.
