Time After Time
Here's some more 40 times from a few people we bumped into.
Jamere Holland 4.3
Vidal Hazelton 4.5
Patrick Turner 4.5
Stafon Johnson 4.51
Note: We also hear that Taylor Mays was clocked at 4.25 in addition to 4.28

I heard it was 4.0 flat...against the wind.
Come on Wolfie...I love Mays...but 4.25 and 4.28 are crazy times...that's faster than Reggie!

yeah, a little crazy if you ask me, but he's such a great athlete that i wouldn't doubt it's damn near close to 4.28 or 4.3. how fast was reggie's time anyways? i totally forgot

Scott, is it true that USC requests that 40 times are not published?

Reggie was clocked at 4.4 during his pro day, but with him, its his change of direction speed that is most impressive as well as his lateral quickness. He hits his top speed in a second, where it takes most people two or three

Yeah, Stafon should move to WR. He speed kills Dwayne Jarrett's!

Well, while I don't know how fast Taylor Mays really is . . . I do recall Mays was the only player on the field able to catch Brady Quinn from behind when he broke loose on that long run in last year's USC-ND game . . . and Mays looked pretty fast doing while doing it.

Given that the fastest 40 yards ever run was 4.38 seconds, I kind of doubt that the USC players were running faster than that.

That’s awesome... apparently the two fastest 40 yard dash runners of all time are both going to be playing for USC’s Football team next year! Speed kills!

I hate to say it, but I don't buy this at all...this is a propoganda move by USC ...
Sorry, there is no way USC has like 9 guys who run a sub 4.5 40...
OR a Safety who runs a 4.28...the only person I have ever heard of who ran a consistent sub-4.3 40 was Deion Sanders.
Keep it up though, guys..the south bend dumbers are eating it up...and shaking in their boots..hahahaha
