Scott

This has really no signifance. If he did it again he would be seen as a repeat offender. Some statues even say to give no validity.

If this was a felony conviction (I assume it was misdemeanor plea) he would have certain rights restored. But the right to own a weapon would not be restored.

What he gains is if ever asked under oath if he has been convicted of a crime he can say no.

But some applications ask have you ever had conviction that was later set aside.

Sorry if I am not to clear but USC1966 does point my IQ is only 9.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
