Raiders coach Lane Kiffin is scouring the country for prospects. He just released former USC defensive back Kris Richard yesterday, which meant he only had six ex-Trojans on the roster (Chris McFoy, Justin Fargas, Mike Williams, Darnell Bing, William Buchanon) along with Josh Booty, the older brother of John David Booty.
But he's not entirely provincial. Kiffin also hired three former UCLA assistants (Tom Cable, Kelly Skipper, Brian Schneider) on his coaching staff.

Scottie,

You probably meant Kiffin has hired 3 of Dorrell's former UCLA assistants. Cable, Schneider and the one you omitted, dline coach Don Johnson. The 4th is former Toledo assistant Kelly Skipper.

Cable is a good pick. Had hoped USC would get him when Kiffen left,

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
