New Rules

You might have heard Notre Dame wants to play Baylor in 2012 at either the Cotton Bowl or the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium. But the Irish also want the game to be considered their home game, which means NBC would get the TV rights and Notre Dame would earn more money.
Baylor capitulated, apparently just happy to play Notre Dame, but the Big 12 is trying to hold up the game, claiming it owns the TV rights when a team plays on a neutral field in an area considered a Big 12 viewing area. Good luck Big 12.

Nothing like stepping up your schedule Notre Dame!

This is pretty weak on ND's part.

I hope the Big 12 wins this one.

Wonder if the length of the grass is also part of the deal.

Wonder if the length of the grass is also part of the deal.

Not only do they already play Army, Navy, Stanford, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Sisters of the Poor every year but now they reach into the BigXII to play Baylor?

BAY-f'in-LOR? Seriously ND!?

I guess with the beatings Charlie has been getting every year at the hands of USC and any other good team they play he figures the more guaranteed wins he can rack up the safer his job will be and the more BCS games he can unfairly earn.

Not if you continue to lose bowl games Weissy boy.

Talk about taking a page out of the SEC playbook. At least the SEC teams play a tough in conference schedule despite their shortcomings.

NOTRE LAME IS A JOKE

Let Baylor take the payday, Big XII. They'll never get as big a payday and why get on bad terms with a cash cow like ND?

Their arrogance is par for the course. Being such losers, it's amazing they still get away with it. Haven't won a National Championship in 19 years or a bowl game in 14 years. And counting. Keep up the losing FAT MAN! The shine's definitely coming off the apple this season. 7-5 at best.

it's not like we haven't played the bears before...

Yes respect, this is true, but I believe Baylor was respectable back then. I don't think these guys have made it off the noon kickoff regional coverage only Fox Sports Net game of the weak in eons. Getting on NBC would give them more exposure in one game then they get all season.

The only thing lamer than the Notre Dame schedule is Skirts from Troy's schedule and Tommy Trojan's dress!

Then, again, once probation hits Troy, a future home and home with Idaho may be tough!

Schedule Lame Competition On!

"The only thing lamer than the Notre Dame schedule is Skirts from Troy's schedule and Tommy Trojan's dress!" <-- Is this English?

Moving on...

The real losers from this move are the ND fans who lose a real home game because of greedy athletic programs.
