What was the 40 time for Cary Harris? I remember he was a pretty good track athelete in H.S.

Do you think USC will get Robby Green, Joe Mcknight's teammate?

How do you think Mike Williams will do with the Oakland Raiders? I think good things are in store for him.

How do you think Mike Williams will do with the Oakland Raiders? I think good things are in store for him.

Are there any good summertime USC football events or are we out of luck until Fall practices begin?

Not to detract in any way from the talent of fabulous SC athletes, but do you find the 40 times to be just a tad optimistic, like the clock's about .05 slow?

Are Keyshawn or Dwayne Jarrett illiterate? Or did it just appear that way?

when is khaled holmes going to commit? how come USC is not offering a scholarship to alameda ta'amu and everette thompson? they both have USC on top of their list.

What's your 40 yard dash time Scott?

What kind of campaign will SC mount to promote John David for the Heisman?

OK. You kinda answered my question from last week that Dennis is going to apply for a 6th year, but Powdrell is not. But my real question is WHY. Why can Dennis do it and Powdrell cannot? If Powdrell cannot, what has happened to him? He was a 5 star linebacker when he came to SC, but I didn't see him in the draft. So, why can Powdrell not apply for a 5th year when Dennis can. And, what is Powdrell doing now.

Thanks.

Was Coleman granted his release? Will any of the remaining 9 TB switch to another position? How good do the coaches believe Havili will be?

When do the incoming freshman report to camp?

Is realbruin a metrosexual? or a....

Is anyone going to tell Taylor Mays to grab onto the ball carrier when he makes a tackle?

I am also curious as to when freshman can report to campus and start practicing.

Are all the freshman going to get in?

When do we find out next year's redshirts?

Any prospect likely to commit after a P.C. visit?

Also curious as to if Max Tuioti-Mariner, Alameda Ta'amu and Everette Thompson will recieve offers or wait until camps?

Is Mitch ever going to write a post on this Blog that does not criticize Taylor Mays?

When is construction slated to begin on the new football facility on campus?

Has Mitch Mustain's admission application to USC been submitted and accepted yet? Are there any other roadblocks left to his enrollment? When will he report to campus? What will his jersey number be?

Are there any changes/developments with the Coliseum Commission? Are there any discussions about improvements or additional parking?

What are the coaches’ assignments for the coming year, their areas of responsibility?

1. Do Kyle Williams, Chris McFoy and Ryan Powdrell have actual contracts for the year now or are they just invited to try out?

2. Do any other grads have chances to make NFL teams?

3. Tom Malone seems to have a pro-level foot and isn't known to choke, yet he is still overseas. Is it just that the Pats want him on the shelf for when they need him or is it that no team wants him on their stateside team?

4. Stuart Mandel mentioned that not as many Trojans get NFL draft love because Pete Carroll is considered a joke on the pro level. Any truth to that?

5. After Jarrett was drafted did Keyshawn suspect he was going to get cut or was his mentoring talk for real?

Darnell Bing - is he healthy?

Will Chris McFoy end up the Jack Haley to Mike Williams' Dennis Rodman?

Any comment on the Mike Penner sex change?

Why is Mitch Mustain coming here?

Does he really have a good chance to beat out Mark?

Will Keyshawn find a team?

On campus football stadium? Where?

Do you think USC's strength of schedule will take a hit because Idaho is on the schedule?

Any chance of replacing Idaho, or is it much too late?

How do the players and coaches feel about playing on Thanksgiving evening?

When will they have their Turkey feast?

I know this is the question phase...but I have an answer to one of the questions. I play basketball every day with Alex Holmes (Khaled Holmes' brother and former Trojan) and he said that Khaled is coming to USC...but he is just enjoying the recruiting process right now.

On to my questions...why do you think that Pete is grabbing commits so early in the process? I just heard an interview with Mack Brown saying, that he feels like he is starting to be at a disadvantage by accepting the early verbals.

What happened to CJ Gable, Emmanuel Moody and Stafon Johnson...they were all near the top of the recruiting boards last year...how could we not see that they lacked the sufficient burst to be significant contributers for a D1 football program?

Is it true that Jimmy Claussen is only 1 year younger than Dwayne Jarrett?

Is Patrick Turner finally going to show up and be the number 1 wideout that we need him to be this year?

Which players are in danger of being declared academically ineligible this semester or, even, will get kicked out of school? What date will we know the status of these players?

Scott, what was the deal with Sark and his interview with the Raiders? He made the right choice to bow out but I have a couple of questions. Why did Kiffen attend Sark's Raider meeting / interview? Kiffen is not good enough to run Minnisota but he got the Raider job...how? How many people have taken their little brother to a job interview and he got the job? Thanks!

1. What's your opinion on USC's chances of going undefeated?

2. Does USC lose a home game next season? If so which one?

3. What games are the likely speed bumps in the schedule? I see @ Oregon (sandwiched between rivalry game @ND and revenge game vs. Oregon St) and @Cal (after tough @ND, @Oregon, Oregon St. stretch) as the toughest games.

What incoming freshman has the best shot at major playing time/starting in 2007? Griffen just seems like a beast and gets my vote.

tim - i heard alex holmes is a serious baller. true? is alex playing football somewhere or what?

reelbruin - i'm fairly confident keyshawn would make you look silly both on the field and in the business world. for the most part his draft analysis and projections were spot on. the interview with jarrett was awkward because of the time delay and jarrett doesn't expound on his answers.

Wolf - Do you think Sark will be a good enough play caller for SC to win a National Championship?

Thank you.

Any idea if there will be a moment before the Idaho game for remembering Mario Danelo? There should be.

To Anser the Clausen question:

The Clausen family has enrolled all their sons late to school and had them repeat sixth grade for athletic purposes. He graduated High School at 19 and will be 20 this fall.

I bet most 19 yr old can dominate 16 yr old kids.

Lets see how he does against the big boys.

who designs the football poster. this has to be one the best around. Scoot, how does it compare to others you've seen

What is the deal with the feud between Lofa and SC?

Galippo is currently 5th deep at MLB. Is he also going to be used at RB as in high school in order to see the field sooner? What about his playing on Special Teams?

Pablo...Alex has a legit 3 point shot. He is a load to handle in the post and he has surprising quickness for a guy of his size. He is not playing football anymore...he is rehabbing a shoulder injury that for all intents and purposes has ended his NFL career. Last time we talked about his future...he said he needed to get healthy and he hasn't decided if he is going to try to play football anymore.

As far as Claussen is concerned...the difference between 19 and 16 is vast...good luck playing against guys his own age.

Wolf:
Has anyone ever taken a close look at the difference between self-timed USC 40 times and NFL-timed USC 40 times? It seems like USC overinflates their own players ego (and likelihood to go pro) by fudging their self-timed 40's.
What were USC's times for BMW, Darnell Bing, Oscar Lua, et al compared to their officially sanctioned times?

thanks tim for that holmes update. i hope he can make it back and play in the league.

Scott: Find out who donated the #7 Matt Leinart Arizona Cardinal jersey to the "True Blue Celebration" silent auction for the bRuins. The bRuin nation was in total meltdown and complained till the item was pulled.
Also, it's quite obvious you don't like Matt Leinart.I'm hoping their isn't a negative spin on whatever you find out.

Fight On !!
